Fort Collins
Mahjong lessons.
Never touched a tile? That's exactly who we teach. Learn American mahjong in one friendly, no-pressure session — and be playing a real game by the time you leave.

If you've never touched a tile, you're in the right seat.
Most of the players in our club started knowing nothing about mahjong — just curiosity and a willingness to laugh at their first few hands. We teach American mahjong, the version played with the National Mah Jongg League card, and we start from the very beginning.
By the end, you won't
just get it — you'll
have played.
- ✓The tiles — bams, cracks, dots, winds, dragons, flowers & jokers
- ✓How to read the NMJL card — the part that looks scary and isn't
- ✓The Charleston, building a hand, and calling tiles
- ✓A complete game, start to finish — because playing is how it clicks
By the end of your session you won't just understand mahjong — you'll have played it.

Three easy steps.
No prep, no pressure — just book, and we'll take it from there.

Do I need to know anything first?
Nope — zero experience is the norm. Most players at our tables started knowing nothing at all.
Is American mahjong hard to learn?
It looks complicated and isn't. You'll play a full game your first day.
Do I need my own card or tiles?
No — we provide everything. (You'll want the NMJL card once you're hooked.)
How long until I can really play?
Most people play confidently after one session and a couple of open-play visits.
